Contraindications, Interactions, and Side Effects (English Holly) :
- Not covered (AHP). Hazards and/or side effects not known for proper therapeutic dosages (PH2). Ingesting more than five berries may induce diarrhea, gastroenterosis, nausea, and vomiting. Fatal GI inflammation is said to have taken place following the ingestion of very large quantities (20 to 30
berries). Poisonings have not been reported in recent times (MAD; PH2). Human fatality reported (ATM; MAD).
