Hazards and/or side effects not known for proper therapeutic dosages (PH2) (but PH2 designates no specific quantified dosage! JAD). A 5% date extract was shown to have a better growth inhibition on C. albicans compared to amphotericin B. The date extract caused a leakage of cytoplasmic contents from the yeast cells.
